That’s why we asked you
Do you agree that HUMANSDID’s Project #1 should be supporting
Borja Vilaseca in transforming the current
educational model?
TERRA, much more than a school
Given that Spain continues to rank among the worst in its educational history — as confirmed by the 2024 PISA report — it’s clear that one of the biggest challenges we face as a society is education.
For years, we’ve talked about the need for an educational model that adapts to people, not the other way around. Alternatives like Montessori, Waldorf or Reggio Emilia have taken significant steps in that direction. But today, more than ever, we need a conscious model that considers the diversity of each student’s strengths—starting with an understanding of the emotional and spiritual state of the world we live in.
TERRA, driven by Borja Vilaseca and Juan de Olano, is one of the few schools in Spain aiming to finally transform the outdated industrial education model, bringing it up to date with the most human-centered educational approaches nowadays.
We’re excited to introduce you to HUMANSDID’s Project #1— not only because it tackles the root of many of humanity’s challenges, education, but also because it does so at a time when we need it the most. Very soon you’ll find out what this means.
