What to learn from skateboarders. (No board needed.)

It’s hard, it’s going to take time and dedication to get good.

You are going to fall. Over time, you will learn how to fall more gracefully and in less painful ways, but falls are inevitable.

If you’re never falling, you’re not pushing yourself hard enough.

You are going to suck at it. Remember that everyone starts out as a beginner, in your same position.

If you keep doing it, it will change the way you perceive the world. Suddenly, you’ll start to see opportunities everywhere, and obstacles will turn into challenges.

Every time you land a new trick you will get a rush of excitement from accomplishing something that seemed impossible before. After trying it a thousand times, you’ll realize that almost anything is possible with determination.

Most of the time, you will be surrounded by dedicated people who understand that with hard work, even the impossible can be achieved.

They will help you when you need it.

Keep insisting.

Never give up.
